negatives and sand

I processed my 12x20's and I'm very happy with them. I am finally feeling like I have a hold on the camera, the film and the processing. Now...the printing. Silver prints first, then some fun stuff.

After feeling pretty good about myself I went out to the sand dunes near St. Anthony. I was looking for a spot to have my students out for a little field trip/potluck outing kind of activity. Found my spot pretty easily, so then I just *had* to go drive around.

A storm was coming in, so there was a lot of sand blowing around. Kept the big camera in the truck, made an image anyway with the small camera.

Got home, did some dishes, made some food for the potluck (which is tonight...), and then poked my head out the window.

The weather here is pretty spactacular at times. Tonight was no exception.

Wow, the skies in the spring/summer in eastern Idaho when a storm is moving in. Absolutely amazing!

I hope your potluck went well.
