Jackson Hole

A very warm and sincere 'Thank You', to the folks at the Jackson Hole Art Association (http://www.artassociation.org/).

I was invited by Jon Long and the directory of photography at the Art Association, John Stewart to come and present images from my current project on the Great Salt Lake.

2 hours of very enlightening discussion ensued, and I am thankful to everyone who attended and for those who offered suggestions and advice. Your comments are appreciated and will help form my decision making process regarding the images and presentation.

It is a wonderful treat to have a lively discussion about one's work, and I really do appreciate them for the invitation and the discussion. Sadly, no images from the actual presentation, we forgot to take some we were so wrapped up in it. Oh well...some things are better left undocumented I s'pose.

Jon Long took me to dinner at The Wort Hotel and we continued the discussion until 1am. A 6 hour drive to Provo the next morning and then I had to teach my 2-hour studio lighting class at BYU.

*yawn*

I'd take a nap, but I need to cut mats and make some large prints for the show that goes up in Rexburg in October. Better get crackin'!

Sorry I didn't come to hear you speak, Mike. I have family staying with us this weekend. I would love to get the details of your discussions. How is the show coming along? Well, I am sure.
Say hello to Craig for me.

Glad you were able to make it. Don't be a stranger. The trampoline is always available. However, it might start getting a little cold once it snows. : )

I'm glad you enjoyed your opportunity to present. It was a real treat to hear you speak about your recent work.
