Exhibiting

It has been an interesting fall for me. I haven't had any exhibits of my work since I had a solo show 8 years ago while living in Portland. I've had a solo show up in Rexburg, got one piece into the Tracy Aviary's first art exhibition, and was invited to be in the Boutiful-Davis Art's Center Holiday Show. I was also in the BDAC's show that was up last month featuring work from graduates of Utah's 4-year art schools. So, 4 shows in 3 months. No, it's not the Whitney or the Guggenheim, but it's a start.

Here's one pice from my Great Salt Lake project hanging in the Tracy Aviary's show. The opening was last night and it was a small opening, but very nice and intimate, and the new space is fabulous. I encourage all locals to get there and see it (even if my work is gone it'll still be worth it).

The other shot is of my 40 pieces that hung in Rexburg. Brian Atkinson delivered it this morning in time for me to deliver 3 of the large prints to the BDAC for the holiday show (the deadline was today).

Kind of sad looking at them in boxes after seeing how nice they looked hanging in the gallery at BYU-Idaho in Rexburg. I've asked about having a solo show at the Tracy Aviary...things look good.
