Toilets
Alright, so it's not pretty scenery, awesome studio stuff, or even cute photos of my kids.
But, it is a major discovery for me, so I thought I'd share it.
We live in Riverton, Utah, which has notoriously hard water. So hard, that in 2 years of moving into our home, we had very thick yellow calcium deposits in all 3 of our toilets. No amount of scrubbing would get rid of them...until this morning.
I discovered through a bit of online research, that there is a thing called a 'pumice stick'. I was worried that the pumice stick would scratch the porcelain. It doesn't, which surprized me because it's pretty darn abrasive.
This stick combined with some CLR cleaning solution can knock down even the most stubborn calcium deposits. Pumice stick = $3.50, CLR = $5.00. Pumice stick + CLR + 5 minutes of elbow grease/toilet = CLEAN TOILETS!!! You could probably get 6-7 toilets out of each pumice stick. I poured 1/3 of the CLR into each toilet. Your mileage may vary.
Revolutionary isn't it? Oh yeah, *I* cleaned the toilets.

I had to clean my bathtub on 7th when I sold my house. I used a pumic stick. Amazing!
Polla must be so proud of you
She gave me a nice hug and a kiss on the cheek.
