Dust - Part Deux
So I got the Korona 12x20 fully extended, and vacuumed out the bellows. I was amazed by the amount of crap that was in the folds of the bellows, and when I saw it wondered why I hadn't had *more* dust on my negatives.
Also blew out the film holders and loaded them with some more FP4 I had just gotten from Robert Hall (another 12x20 photographer).
Went back to Chester Dam to try to make another image. The last negatives I had made there didn't turn out well. They were underexposed and underdeveloped in Ilfosol S, which is a very gentle...almost too gentle, developer. I will process in Ilfotec, which gives a bit more 'kick' from now on.
Made two negatives, and bracketed. At $15 per negative I can't afford to do that very much. I want a nice negative to make a platinum print from, so in order to have a little insurance, I went ahead and made two exposures...processing tonight.
