Sand

I'm going through a bunch of really old images while archiving onto my new drive (see post below...). Found a funny/sad/depressing image of my 17-35mm lens that was dropped into the sand in a blinding sandstorm shooting a job for Warn when I lived in Portland. Had to send it to Nikon for some 'freshining-up'. It still works great and is very sharp.

Lesson? Don't get sand in your glass.
