Mariotti
Legendary Chicago sports writer Jay Mariotti resigned from the Chicago Sun-Times yesterday. There is an article about it HERE. His basic reason is that sports writing is now a web-oriented profession. Newspapers are out.
You may remember a post of mine a few days ago where I was talking about this. I also noticed yesterday that the New York Times ad revenue is down significantly this year. I wonder when the demise of the newspaper business will no longer be news.

Crap, I was. I decided that finishing off my syllabi was more important than going to Logan. I should have called.
I'm ordering a package of that 8x10 positive B&W paper this week. I'll let you know how it goes.
