Land Rover has a long tradition of pitting man and machine against the elements, each other, and against himself. In 2003 Land Rover held a 4-week long competition that brought competitors from 16 different nations together in a spirit of competition and comraderie. I was invited to photograph the North American selection trials and also several days of competition during the final stage of the event which started in Las Vegas, Nevada and ended in Moab, Utah.
