They were in town for the SEMA show that was held in Vegas at the beginning of November, and were looking to blow off some steam after a week of hob-nobbing with folks and seeing the latest in automotive technology.

I got to drive the RedBull truck and ride in the RockRail, and they are unlike any vehicles I've ever been in before. Very supple, very responsive and very fun.

Dustin and a bunch of his buddies and extended familiy members have spent the past 3 years building a connector trail to join two of the lesser-known trails together into a continuous line. It's pretty remote, very scenic, and even kind of technical in places.

Since a great deal of it's charm is due to the fact that less than 20 trucks have run it in the past 3 years, I am not at liberty to divulge it's location. I have basically been told 'If they can find it, they deserve to run it', from Dustin.

Too bad it had to get dark when the sun went down, we were all up for more good wheelin' but unfortunately neither truck had any lights. A quick blast down the dirt road in pitch black darkness with nothing but a cloud of dust and a hazy silouette on the horizon let us know that we were actually on track to get home.
